Geneva County Schools Technology
Geneva County Schools strives to deliver a technologically rich environment that provides our students with all available opportunities to excel in an increasingly technologically driven world.
High speed internet connections available to each classroom and publicly accessible computers in the school system provides students with filtered access to the internet and its wealth of educational resources. All K-12 classrooms have wireless internet to support our 1-1 initiative. We strive to maintain a low student to computer ratio giving every student in our system an opportunity to use the latest technology to assist in their educational goals and requirements. New technology devices, such as document cameras, digital projectors, wireless interactive tablets, interactive white boards, iPads, chrome books and other items allow both educators and students an opportunity to access the latest technology and are provided the opportunity to use these resources in the educational process.
Every K-3 classroom has a class set of iPads. We are also excited to announce that with the begninng of the 2018-2019 school year, all classes grades 3-12 will have a class set of chrome books!
