Unless the parent or legal guardian request otherwise, the school or news media may list students’ names, take pictures and/or make audio-visual recordings of students during sporting events, awards ceremonies, and general interest events. Students’ names, pictures and/or audio-visual presentations of students may appear on the school system or individual school web sites. This includes the listing of students’ names and placement of students’ pictures in the school newsletter for Honor Roll, AR Rewards, Student Council, etc. Pictures and/or audio-visual recording that identify students as receiving special education instruction will not be allowed without prior approval. If you do not wish for your child’s name/picture to be given to the media or placed on the school website, please sign the form provided each fall and return to your child's teacher.
